Costs

With all potential clients looking for my service I provide a free consultation to get a good idea of the clients needs and ideas, I will discuss prices depending on the factors of the project. Below is a rough idea of my rates.

WKMedia Freelance Videographer Price List 

 

1. Hourly Rates

  • Standard Videography: £30 - £75 per hour

  • Event Coverage (e.g., parties, weddings): £50 - £100 per hour

  • Corporate Videos / Interviews: £60 - £120 per hour

 

2. Half-Day & Full-Day Rates

  • Half-Day (4 hours): £250 - £500

  • Full-Day (8 hours): £500 - £1,200

    • Note: Full-day rates generally include basic editing and footage delivery.

 

3. Event Videography Packages

  • Weddings: £1,000 - £3,500

    • Includes pre-wedding consultation, filming of ceremony and reception, highlight video, full-length video, and basic editing.

  • Corporate Events: £600 - £2,000

    • Includes filming of keynote speakers, presentations, interviews, and post-event highlights or full event video.

 

4. Corporate & Promotional Videos

  • Small Business Promo Video (1-2 minutes): £500 - £1,500

  • Brand/Advertising Video (2-5 minutes): £1,500 - £4,000

  • Training Videos: £1,000 - £3,000

 

5. Video Editing

  • Basic Editing (up to 1 minute): £50 - £150

  • Advanced Editing (e.g., color grading, sound design): £200 - £500

  • Full-Length Editing (10+ minutes): £500 - £1,500

 

6. Additional Services

  • Drone Filming: £200 - £500 (per day)

  • Additional Crew (e.g., assistant, sound engineer): £150 - £350 per person (per day)

  • Travel Fees: £0.45 - £0.75 per mile (if location exceeds 30 miles from the base)

  • Studio/Location Rental: £100 - £500 per day (if required)

 

7. Packages & Discounts

  • Social Media Content Package (e.g., 4-5 short videos): £500 - £2,000

  • Repeat Client Discount: 10-20% off on subsequent projects

 

Notes:

  1. Rates vary depending on location, with prices being generally higher in major cities (e.g., London).

  2. Equipment: The above prices may include basic gear (camera, lighting, etc.), but high-end cinema gear (e.g., RED cameras, special lenses) will cost more.

  3. Editing time: Editing is often priced separately unless otherwise included in the package.

  4. Travel: Fees for travel are typically added if the filming location is outside of the local area or requires overnight stays.
